The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and defending civil liberties and individual rights in the United States. Founded in 1920, the ACLU has been at the forefront of landmark cases involving freedom of speech, religion, and equal protection under the law. With over 1.5 million members and a network of local chapters, the ACLU continues to advocate for social justice and fight against discrimination, censorship, and government overreach.

The organization’s North Carolina branch (ACLU-NC) has nearly 30,000 members and supporters across the state and a staff of more than 20 people.

Below is a brief showcase of my work as the organization's Senior Communications Strategist for Multimedia.
